We beginnen om [u]21.30[/u] met Metropolis.[/b] De [b]zondagavond[/b] begint met twee ietwat meditatieve, visueel overweldigende documentaires, een oude (1930) en een nieuwere (1992). De [b]middagen[/b] staan in het teken van de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Hoe kijken Duitse cineasten door de jaren heen tegen hun verleden aan? We beginnen in 1946 en komen via 1959 en 1979 uit in 2004. Tijdens de [b]avonden[/b] volgen we chronologisch de filmgeschiedenis. [b]Maandagavond[/b] kijken we een stomme film van een van de beste regisseurs uit die tijd (Fritz Lang), [b]dinsdagavond[/b] pakken we twee zeer diverse films uit de jaren dertig die wellicht een goede afspiegeling zijn van de culturele tweespalt in die tijd, [b]woensdagavond[/b] staan twee grote namen van de [url=https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuer_Deutscher_Film]Neuer Deutscher Film[/url] op het program (Fassbinder en Herzog) en de [b]donderdagavond[/b] wordt afgesloten met film die met beide benen in het Duitsland van nu staat, al was het maar omdat die geregisseerd is door een Turkse Duitser. Kortom, weer genoeg voer voor een genoeglijk weekje!
