100 Great Films with No Entry in Any ICM Official List
Favs/dislikes: 27:1. Obviously, It's a discricionary list based on what I saw and liked it , but I think most of the films are agreed to be good. Many great films I haven't seen are missing that I hope to discover someday. I may ignore entries from constantly updated lists. edit: Since I had created the list I removed over 70 films after additions and updates of official lists. It seems that my choices aren't so bad after all. Hopefully, the list is not lowering the quality with my news choices. Favs/dislikes: 57:1. "And for better and for worse, film has had a huge impact on masculinity in the 20th Century. Movies have produced archetypes of manliness that many men judge themselves against today. To view how male characters of cinema have been portrayed over the decades, is to see clearly the ways in which our perception of masculinity has changed and continues to change." -

Beyond the Canon's Films Deserving Greater Attention
Favs/dislikes: 35:0. "Beyond the Canon is essentially a greatest films poll, only without the greatest films. I challenged a number of dedicated film-lovers – critics, bloggers, filmmakers, IMDbers; professional, amateur, and in-between – to select up to 100 films that they believed to have been under-represented by film history, that meant more to them than the established, well-exposed classics." - Iain Stott, The One-Line Review -

It is a looped 24-hour video supercut (montage of scenes from film and television) that feature clocks or timepieces.
