The overall course of the plot was enjoyable but this movie is fundamentally flawed. Bunch of villains running around with no redeemable qualities (except for the baker guy) whatsoever. The small glimpses of hope were given through the group of passers-by that the Nazis encountered through their travels. Excellent acting from Olivier and Howard.

Not a bad little number.They kind of beat the theme to death. Nazism bad, democracy good. Still, very well made.
