Are we supposed to like the main character of this film? At the beginning he has a wife and 3 kids, by the end
I didn't experience as much wonderment watching this film as I expected. I much prefer the swashbuckling space adventure flick that came out the same year.

Although the graphics are impressive for the time period it was made, this movie failed to impress me. The characters were mostly unlikable, it was too chaotic and noisy, and it was irritably slow-paced.
Also, most annoying kids. EVER.
