The 3 minute trailer on IMDb practically gives the entire movie away and is quite clear as to what one can expect. I think it's save to say this probably won't silence many critics of the Bollywood Mafia.
I didn't see much reason here to watch yet another Aamir Khan film, after not liking so many of his pictures before. More of the same, if you ask me. But since it showed up in the top 250, didn't drop out soon and the fact that I actually kind of enjoyed Drishyam, I gave it a fair go, as requested in the comments here.
Generic, Aamir Khan Bollywood drivel, I'm sorry to say, the feminist stroke notwithstanding.
Victory in the face of adversity, haven't we seen enough of that already? Maybe it's just me. But it still baffles me that people rate stuff like this that high. The mind boggles. BUT: the good news is, Aamir Khan fans will probably love it for the same reasons they liked his other flicks. Me hating it doesn't change that one bit. Nor should it.
