I don't think I'd seen Pola Negri's work before, but what a delight she is! She combines the beauty and otherworldliness of a young Helena Bonham Carter with Melissa McCarthy's manic energy. Lubitsch's film doesn't have much of a plot, justt a clothesline to hang the hijinks from, but that's all it needs. I'd actually go so far as to place it in a tie with Chaplin's The Kid as the best film of 1921. 8.5/10

Some memorable scenes, nice sets and the plot is not as dull as similar movies.Ray Anselmo
