I have to say I do approve of this version of the famous story. I loved the way Dorian was just indulging himself in the pleasures of life - lead by a very mysterious and charismatic Henry... and how the story got darker and Dorian was more troubled towards the end.
Great acting by Colin Firth - also loved watching Rebecca Hall.
Nice effects and atmosphere, the painting was really creepy... liked it!
It's hard for me to believe someone could mess up the amazing story so marvelously... I approve of nothing but Dorian's house and the way Sibyl and Basil looked.
Não sei muito bem o que pensar desse filme. Ao mesmo tempo que eu gostei de ver a decadencia e todos os prazeres que o Dorian Gray teve na vida, eu também acho legal ficar só na cebeça toda essa "corrupção" que ele teve. A explicitude me agrada e ao mesmo tempo não.
Sobre a atuação dos atores, principalmente a do Ben Barnes e do incrível Colin Firth, n~so tem o que botar defeito. Foram impecáveis.
Mas o que me incomou demais foi mudarem pontos principais da históia original, como o Henry matando o Dorian no final, tipo, oi ????? pra que fazerem isso? me desagradou muito a mudança na historia, esse interesse amoros que não existe no livro, e etc.
No geral, valeu a pena ter visto, mas pra não ver de novo.

My expectations for this movie were definitively too high. They could have done so much better, in my opinion!I did really like Colin Firth though.

Ben Barnes is such a marvelous actor.
