Films always get a backlash when they win awards over more worthy contenders. Maybe The White Ribbon and Une Prophete are greater, but isn't that irrelevant? Comparing this movie to itself and no others, I thought it was really excellent.

Decent movie, but can't believe this beat Prophet and White Ribbon. Way too slow and predictable.

Well, if this is said to be better then Das Weisse Band and Un Prophete, I think I can expect more then this. Not a bad movie at all, but not surprisingly good, touching, moving or something else. Visually average and a love-story that doesn't matter.

Just 'Okay'.
