Very well-done (and even excellently conceived) for found footage, though since (parts of) v/h/s proved that you can have ff without making every character a complete and total asshole, I'd have loved to see that here. Alas, that's not the case.
The third act* is also utter bull (though I'd disagree with those saying it's too vague and/or disappointing).

The ending was only bad for people who didn't quite pay attention to the story. It made complete sense and great deal was explained in the end. It is upsetting to see that many people didn't get the movie... nevertheless, I don't want to spoil it so I won't mention it here. However, there is there is a poster on imdb that explained it perfectly and I recommend people who don't get it to go read that or watch the movie a second time even...
