By far the best one of the series. Of course it'll go to the trashcan of film history, because it's not just a "Free Willy movie," but its fourth sequel too. Anyway, it's silly, yes, but it also has beautiful cinematography, a nice selection of songs for its soundtrack, the kids do a good job acting, and the plot has a cute message as well.
One thing I found particularly sweet about this movie is that the children are not looked down onto and the adults could recognize they fucked up. But, whatever, go shit on it, I guess watching any Eurotrash film from the 70's showing female pubic hair for 45 minutes straight is way better.
It's still better than Avatar tho. 8 years 7 months ago
