Corny vampire movie set in a small town in northern Sweden. It's rather well done, despite the actors being utterly hopeless but if you aren't at least Scandinavian, you'll probably have a hard time appreciating this one. There is a bit of CGI near the end which is surprisingly high quality work.
Worth watching if you like the concept of a lower budget, more believable "30 Days of Night", set in Sweden. Actually, Frostbiten predates it. Check out the movie trivia on IMDb, amusing read. 12 years 2 months ago -

There are quite a lot of problems with this movie, particularly some strange time jumps at the beginning, cheesy acting, and quite a few of the jokes didn't work. Despite that, there are enough strengths that I found myself enjoying it. There are interesting new spins on the vampire legend, some jokes do come off, and though it's slow to start, it eventually builds to a fun climax with some good action and scares. 11 years 6 months ago -

A lot better than I'd been led to expect - is a bit of a mash up between a silly "30 Days of Night", a less thoughtful "Let the Right One In" and a standard teens running wild flick with a strange injection of Nazi war drama. Some nice moments, but some ropey effects near the end and it runs out of ideas ultimately (stopping a giant vampire with a photocopier... righto...), but it's easy viewing, pretty well acted and occasionally funny. Worth a look I'd say. 12 years 1 month ago
