I can't believe I am the first to be commenting on this documentary. This left both my friend and I speechless walking out of the theater. (It came out in 2013, and I saw it for the first time... in theaters in 2015). Not only is the message powerful and needs to be heard: girl's education and the importance of it but the filmmaking and storytelling of each girl's power, strength, wisdom at the age of eight through thirteen (yes I didn't get that wrong) is absolutely breathtaking. Each story has its own personality that matches each girl yet all stories scream the same message perfectly:
