Like a week ago I watched John Cusack's High Fidelity which is allegedly a good movie. Yeah, sure, shit's about music, but I felt it was absolute bullshit bc the hole "music" aspect was just band name dropping, just like Jack Black movies. So, I really appreciate that here the "music" stuff is implicitily observable in the "scene" related stuff in the mise-en-scène, dialogue, character structure, whatever. It felt fresh and genuine, and that's just fucking rare, if not non-existent, when kids are portrayed in movies, tv, and so on.

On the other hand, this might feel as a little movie. Yeah, I agree on that it's not a masterpiece, but the suspense is excellent, and the good elements are good. Also I expected way, way more gore -- so don't watch if you expect exploitative bloodbaths, there aren't.

It's weird when during the entire movie you are rooting for the "villainous skinheads" over the "innocent victims". And a girl takes down the whole gang. YA RIGHT. That trope is too old now. Rating - 5/10
