Kino Lorber in the US has recently released Harakiri in an 87 minute version in a DVD box set called "Fritz Lang: The Early Years" along with versions of The Wandering Image and Four Around the Woman.
Surprisingly the portrayal of the Japanese in this German film from just after WWI was not the worst. There is some decent directing and camerawork, and the story of Madame Butterfly is good. But dang the editing and acting leave a lot to be desired. Boring and wooden.
Apparently available on Internet Archive with optional English subs... although the film is 20 minutes shorter than the length IMDb lists: http://www.archive.org/details/Harakiri1919fritzLang
