Cluttered and confused, just like the protagonist. The split loyalty thing is handled better in other flicks and the jewish element is more of a set piece than anything. As the movie goes on it becomes more and more of a caricature.
I agree. This is a very stellar film. It does not do many things that are new for the type of film it is, but I think the quality of the film makes that irrelevant.

Typical Mamet. Probably not for everybody but a delight for those who can wade through complex dialog to get to the heart of the sophisticated plot.Oaktown
