I loved it. It's crazy, but not really horror (well I guess in the '80s sense, it kind of is). Actually, one ridiculous scene got a HUGE scare out of me and I couldn't help but laugh after I got my heart back in the correct rhythm.
All in all, it's a comedy, and the lead was great and carried the role very well. I haven't seen him around in very many movies.
Intentionally low-rent and ridiculous. And it pulls it off very well. Funny, goofy, and highly amusing.
But if you're looking for a proper horror movie, look elsewhere.
