Extraordinary documentary about an extraordinary man. You don't need to like sushi to learn a lot from this story about excellence, perseverance, and commitment. You'll walk away from this film with many things to think about, regardless of what your interests are. And if you like sushi, you'll probably start planning your trip to Japan just to eat at Jiro's place.

This documentary shows a world that is in the brink of extinction. It reminds us of the importance of tradition and the love for the craft. It shows one of the few things worth living for in this planet that day by day gets smaller and uninteresting... Jiro Ono is the representation of true honor and commitment for the life he chose and loves.

This is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. Jiro is truly a master of his craft-- his dedication is admirable and his sushi is a work of art. I'm surprised this hasn't made it on any documentary related top lists, because I think that it's one of the greatest.

This was special. I don't even like sushi, and I still enjoyed the documentary.

I got the chills at the end when the filmmakers show us what they had been secretly setting us up for the entire documentary: spoiler

I wish I could apply Jiro's standard of consistency and dedication to my own pursuits. If you want to know the secret to success, it's all here in this film.

Since I don't enjoy sushi, this didn't made me hungry one bit. Which was great. Had pizza after. Kthxbye.
