Do not let the running time intimidate you. It really is quite a wonderful film, and although I do wonder if the creators ever considered making it a mini-series, the story lines and plots flow well with a great cast of interesting and details characters, woven in with their relationships and tribulations. It's worth it! I was never bored or wishing it was over, which happens to me often even in 1hr and 40 minute movies! 13 years 5 months ago
