Saw the prescreen of this. I might be biased since I love Emilia Clark, but I loved the movie. Had the Last Christmas song stuck in my head for a few hours afterwards though lol

Cozy, cozy environments in London, not entirely spotless script by Emma Thompson, good music by George Michael (inspired by apparently), but ... damn what an unexpectedly nice twist!! Beautiful.
"I've got this great idea for a film, let's take that line from that song "Last Christmas I gave you my heart" and make it completely literal".
The problem is guys, once that twist was revealed, the plot had nowhere else to go. There isn't really an ending, Christmas just happens, she sings the title song, and then she gets on with her life.
Of all the movies I regret seeing in theaters, this one is up there for best...Not good, not horrible, a few nice moments...This movie would have been a great Netflix original or movie I watch at a trip to my grandmas...and I dont have a grandma

Movie was bang on average.Acting was fine, storyline was just pretty blah.
Wasn't expecting the ending given that the rest of the movie seemed pretty normal.
