   The movie spends its run time trying to be good and just missing by an inch. Tries to be tense but kills the tension with exposition-heavy dialogue. Tries to create interesting character dynamics but never pays any of them off. Attempts to say something about America’s self destruction but doesn’t commit to it.    This film was intense and definitely kept my interest. However, I feel that the ending was a letdown. I kept expecting a twist or at least something to happen between the two families. The was really no explanation for why anything was happening, and it just left you without any resolution. It was still a good watch, just left you wondering what was really the point of it all. 4 months 1 week ago
