The characters in this movie are indecisive, inconsistent, annoying and unlikeable. Every time it seems like a character might be coming to his or her senses, they change their mind. The young guy is annoyingly angry and smug. The young woman is childish and silly. The mother seems smart but keeps ignoring her instincts, which leads her to change her mind every other minute. The person who comes closest to being likeable is the father, who has a somewhat charming personality, but then only wants to get back with his wife due to jealousy. Also the big revelation late in the movie makes him even more unlikeable. As for Monroe, her role is very small and non-essential. 8 years 3 months ago -
