Fantastic special effects. Chevy is better here than in 99% of his other films. The romance works. The gags are funny. Sam Neill is unhinged. Carpenter riffing on noir and adventure movies. What is there not to like?Hunziker
Better than I anticipated, as it often is with Carpenter. Also, fair warning: it's a comedy, don't expect the usual thrills.
