After the horrid second installment in this series, MiB 3 was on no one's wish list. Fortunately, it turned out better than expected. While the first act spins its wheels, the movie takes on a great charm with the added presence of the remarkable Josh Brolin. The film even reaches surprisingly emotional moments in an unexpectedly great 3rd act.
Not outstanding, but worth the price of admission...though, as usual, don't bother paying for 3D. You're not missing anything.
The first ten minutes are as close as I have ever been to walking out of a movie. It improves past that, and the ending is probably its best scene. Overall just okay.
Vastly succeeded my expectations. I thought the first one was quite good, but didn't latch on to it the way lots of audiences did, and HATED the second one.
The sense of humor in this one was very strong and Josh Brolin deserves an oscar nod for doing such a dead on impression of Tommy Lee Jones.
The ending, which I won't ruin, was incredibly touching. Just an overall delight.
I've read quite a lot of bad reviews for this one, but I have to say I disagree with most of them. This was fun! Good humor, solid special effects, and last, but not least, a lot of creative and fun creatures. However, I can relate to the fact that this movie copies a lot of the first two without bringing a lot of new elements to the screen, and that being a weakness. But it's not enough to ruin all the fun. I was thoroughly entertained by this. And Josh Brolin made my day! Now, are we sure he is NOT a Tommy Lee Jones clone?!?
Before I went to the cinema to see this I actually thought there was not much of a point in a third part of this, although I like the other two movies. But I did enjoy it - some nice ideas, a cool ending, humorous and entertaining like the other parts. It was worth watching!
The ending could have been a bit better but then I remembered that Will Smith is somewhat of an ass when it comes to him being cast in movies,
so nothing bad could have happened to him. Honestly, I was expecting him to die after he realized the only way he could save his partner was to sacrifice himself.

"Fortunately, it turned out better than expected."This is probably my most overused stock-reviewing phrases but it's accurately sums up the zeitgeist in a lot of cases, particularly here.
