Miles better than the second. Felt a lot like watching the first, which was great. It even improved upon a lot, and averted many issues that the first two movies had.Some scenes/jokes dragged on a little too long, Nicky was pretty annoying (the different actor didn't help) and the ending felt a bit rushed, but other than that my only real complaint is that I needed more Jedediah and Octavius. Otherwise, it was great.
If only the second was more like this; it would have been a fantastic trilogy.
