This movie is the biggest disappointment to me. You have Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Nicole Kidman, Judi Dench (just to name a few!) in a movie, together! It should of been wonderful. And it wasn't. At all. :(
Beautiful film, very entertaining. Filled with great performances and costumes. Incredible performances by Coltillard and Day Lewis to be specific. And might I say, extremely underrated due to the people constantly comparing it to Fellini's 81/2. Rob Marshall as fantastic as always.
This film should be enjoyed if only for the marvelous acting talents of Day-Lewis, Cotillard and Dench. The rest of the star studded cast are a bit middling.
Love the Soundtrack!! I listen it very often but hardly will ever going to see the movie again. The plot , the development a total fail. Here we see the importance in the story. the movie had it all to be a hit, great cast great location great musical numbers and music of course. But I was surprising how they let us down.
