It was painful to watch the poor girl
trying to escape the rapist but it was made really good - like in a dream when you're trying to run from something but you can't move your feet. Also, it pissed me of that her family later treated her as a victim, and all the people in town looked at her like there was something wrong with her, like it was all her fault. This is just the opposite what Olivia Benson (Law and order: SVU) does now. :p I think that Ida Lupino was really brave to had made such a movie.
This movie should have more checks.
