This is a guilty pleasure movie, but there is a lazy bit of writing that has always bothered me.
[Spoiler] They make a point of stressing that the final tournament is a "Double Elimination Tournament". They say it a lot. This is obviously put in there to set up the drama of Lincoln losing and being on the brink of elimination. However, they never show Bull losing a first time, which would mean that Lincoln would have to beat him twice in the final. Yet, after one win they declare Lincoln the champion.[Spoiler]
