I was genuinely surprised. I honestly did not imagine the movie to suck at hurricane strength.The first movie was pretty bad but at least entertained somewhat, the sequel just fails in every aspect.
Unremittingly predictable, incessantly moronic script, talentless and/or clueless actors, painfully terrible "fight scene" choreography, inane directing plus the biggest dropping of a ball of the movie year:
The web comic CSSCHNEIDER linked was quite good, I wish the movie could have been too.
Check out the crazy CGI which really suffers at times when it's supposed to shine
Not recommended. God damn.

The movie is bad, though I don't blame him. The comics take a tale of hard work and effort on his part. It's tough to make a film like this, but the script is the framework or skeleton of a film and the script was bad from the start.

What the hell did they do with Annabeth? Her character wasn't very well developed in the first movie to start with, and now they just made her a boring sidekick...KJha
I personally believe this movie was entertaining. However, at the end of the movie, I felt something was missing. In conclusión, it is an obvious and "flat" movie which miss some unexpected events.Spinx

The first one wasn't great. This one is worse. Anthony Stewart Head is spectacular in it, though. Shame he doesn't get more to do.danisanna

Seems to suffer from "middle movie trilogy" - not as fresh or appealing as the first one, and a lot of just killing time until the trilogy wraps up.Malena
