I am a very big Woody Allen fan, but this might be one of his most pitch-perfect works. I'm amazed it's not mentioned more often, because it seems like this film, along with Purple Rose of Cairo and Stardust Memories, reach deep into his soul and we discover what's most important in his life. To get a glimpse into the mind of a filmmaker, something only the most masterful of directors can do. 9 years 9 months ago -

I am in no way a Woody Allen fan but I was held spellbound by this one. A perfect sweet memory of what life was like and how families faced the events - common-place and extraordinary - that life threw at them. The soundtrack is remarkably spot on. 4 years 4 months ago
