@Aissi, a few questions:
When a character in a film forces out the most politically incorrect combination of racial slur, with the main cause of putting somebody of, to provoke, then this film tend to loose its power over you?
And likewise, if a character in a film pulls of a couple of condescending personal remarks on women? Even when this is a character that is portrayed throughout a film as being a laughable character, laughable just because of his constant self conscious and "bad taste"-comments?
In general, is a film less good, if it portraits characters with "bad" ethics, "bad" moral, if it portraits characters that utters patronizing expressions? Does the characters of a film have to be good, for the film to be good?
There do exist "bad" people in the "real world". Should characters that resemble these bad men and women be abolished from cinema? Or is it that a film should tell us (force upon us) what to think of these bad characters, by portraying them in a constant unfavorable matter, that you want?
One of Norway's best for sure.
