Seeing Robert Altman/Garry Trudeau's fictional Tanner character (or someone based on him) as an interviewee toward the end of the movie really pulled the rug out from under me. Now reading about what other elements of the doc were entirely fictional...I'm personally fine with the whole fact/fiction interplay. It's very true to Dylan's legacy and self-mythologizing within the popular culture imaginary.

Great music and behind the scenes make this a great rockumentary. BUT the addition of some fake stories and interviews does leave a bad taste
