Utterly mesmerizing in every regard! One of the most overwhelming cinematic experiences I've ever had. The most remarkable mise-en-scène I've ever witnessed - the effort and detail that went into each scene is simply astonishing, transporting us into a rich world of light, color, and texture. The film takes us on a journey into the protagonist's mind, merging his memories, imagination, fears, and desires into a dreamlike stream of consciousness. Arguably, the culmination of 1970's cinema, or of any decade, really.P.S. For those who didn't know, the film is available in region-free DVD and Blu-ray format from the label company "Mr. Bongo" - excellent quality!
