For a Sherlock Holmes story, it’s very surreal and over the top. It’s not something we’re used to and honestly, it’s a bit much, bordering on the ridiculous.But you know what? The dialogue is quick and clever, the actors are good and I have to admit that, surprisingly, I enjoyed watching this movie. It’s different and the Holmes/Watson combo works. I actually enjoyed this pairing to RDJ/Jude Law.
Watch it if you want a laugh and a fun ride, but don’t expect too much of it.
Lastly, Gareth David Lloyd is possibly the only one who can look THAT good in a porn tash and ill fitted clothes ;)
