An interesting film from a British or American post Cold War perspective. It is a patriotic Finnish film which depicts a theatre of war unfamiliar to the Western Allies, and one which at the time where the heroes are "enemies by association" and later on could be sen as brave anti-Communists holding their own against Soviets.
