This is my second favorite Altman film from the 21st century, sitting behind only Gosford Park.
I have watched "Tanner on Tanner" more times than "Tanner '88" and I can't imagine that trend changing.
The superb work is shared by all involved and the style beautifully matches the subject.
It can be viewed in 4 chunks or with all pieces together.
I recommend it to Altman fans or newcomers; it welcomes all. 12 years 1 month ago
