Weird and sad, in many ways. Be prepared for a slow, lengthy movie with plenty of time jumps without warning or explanation. Perhaps it's more of an experience than a traditional movie, and you should treat it as such.

Worth watching for the surreal tone and David Bowie's compelling screen presence. The pacing and oddly structured storytelling can be a little grating, but I'm glad I saw it.

This gives 'art films' a bad name and I like those sort of films. Bored the hell out of me, hard to follow too. Also depressing. Rent it first if you're thinking of buying it.
