This film doesn't do any justice to the book at all. Characters are changed, magic is over-dramatised as well as the story lines. Some characters are exclusively bad or good, while the book has a far more realistic view on the ambiguous nature of humang beings (and human creations like religion). It's not that I am so big a fan of the book, but still, this film...brr...
