I think this is one of the best zombie-world portrayals I've ever seen. The characters are convincing and I found myself really liking them. Some people say the zombies weren't scary enough, but seem to forget the scene where Rick's stuck in the tank during episode 2! The series sets up some decent storylines and, if the initial writing is anything to go by we can expect more good stuff - as far as first-series go I think this is one of the best, can't wait til the next installmentmeztruo
i just finished to watch the first season, i LOVED it. it focus more on people feelings and relationships than the "horde" thing, but without falling in bullshit like jericho was, for example. one of the best tv series i've seen. and of course on my top ten of movies/tv series about zombie. absolutely worth watching!musicguyguy
I don't know why so many think this is bad. It's a hauntingly real depiction of a group of survivors. The importance of trust, honesty, and integrity in times of need come through for the entire group, and individual values are strained as more important goals--namely survival--develop.timfosse

Have to also recommend Dead Set.I have no idea where The Walking Dead is going, because most of the first season just consisted of drifting about.

i saw yesterday the return of second season. I hope they leave the farm. I want to see more action preferably with walkers. Liked the last scenes: Seems that finally Rick stoped the whining.MindMeltingMovies
Then again... LOL... I just finished watching episode 7...and it got better...more walker action...now I just wish they would move to the ocean ...find a boat and go out to sea and find a deserted island ... the end LOLMindMeltingMovies
