I can see why it has such a low rating, unjustly so. This film doesn't break any boundaries, doesn't really show anything new or exciting. I wouldn't even call it dramatic even though the events are, in a way. But I found it so engaging and charming, so kind. I think it's a wonderful story about grieving, not understanding death, not understanding grief, about acceptance of reality vs religious lore and about coming to terms with life and nature's laws.
It's very calm and quiet, a bit awkward and odd... just like the real life is. Very lifelike. Great film, definitely worth a watch. 4 years 4 months ago
