Angelopoulos, Jancso and Mizoguchi have all surpassed the "grand Tarkovsky". I can easily go down that assessment route and name a few more!It's way too tiring having to deal with particular sacred cows, why can't we enjoy films' merits without pointing fingers?

this greek director wanted to make his own "nostalghia" but of course.... noone can imitate the grand tarkovsky. a doomed to fail effort with a very dull result. his previous movies were also as tasteless and showboaty.
