really enjoyed this, stays faithful to the book . The battle scenes don't stand up to any modern film but there is some excellent acting (both the Princes Bolkonsky, Pierre [Hopkins], Count Rostov, Nikolai Rostov. Well worth a watch 12 years 10 months ago
