Interesting but not sure it's worthy of an official top list.

Perfection! I cried in no less than three spots. Although the fight scene was a little odd and somewhat unbelievable. Still, a great movie.

As beautiful as the photography and settings are, Dietrich’s constant movement and so-called flirtatious actions were annoying and distracting to me.

Errol Flynn plays a stiff in this.

Definitely not what I expect from Lubitsch but good anyway.

Predictable but still, I cried. What a wonderful movie. Holden gives a phenomenal performance.

Wonderful movie. Sally Ellers is endearing and John Dunn is just a doll. I'd kill for a husband like him.

Joel McCrea is so dreamy! I'd get a divorce to marry him, too.

All I have to do is see Roberto Benigni and I start to laugh! He doesn’t even have to utter a word. I must admit though, this was not one of my favorites of his although it was a good movie. Love the way the guys interacted and grew to not only tolerate each other, but become friends because of their circumstances.

A TCM Extra. Notable in that Harry Earles (Hans from “Freaks” (1932)) has a small role as a phony kid.

I just love Joan Blondell. She was such a natural.

A.K.A. “Adventures in Africa” per the title card of the movie.

Haines appears so natural and not rehearsed. Couldn’t help thinking about Haines’ homosexuality because of all the references to how “beautiful” he is, mistaking him for Pansy, and the way he “pranced” in some scenes. He’s a very likable actor, though.

Diana Dors actually could act. Who knew? Not a bad movie although the plot is rather predictable.

Very disappointing. Mickey Daniels was sort of cute as a child but is butt ugly and annoying as an adult.

George Sanders is a thrill to watch no matter what movie he is in. Always the suave villain you love to hate.
