Pretty fun twist on Freaky Friday. Very gory and Vince Vaughn is good with the girl in male body thing. No Oscar winner, but not the worst waste of time.

Wasn't expecting much, coming from the other installments in the series, but this was just plain bad. Convoluted plots, weird twists and not that good action stuff. The flashbacks seemed weird visually as if the actors were CGI(-aided) (which they aren't), but still.

Thankfully I did not pay money to see this.

It has some pacing issues, and parts that sag in at times, but overall it was good. The acting of Murphy and Downey is on point. A bit of humor works wonders with Damon as the general as well.

And I realize most Americans can't point out The Netherlands on a map, but the language Murphy speaks in "Leiden" is anything but Dutch.

What a wild ride. The animation is top tier stuff, going beyond the animation of the first one. I was surprised how well everything meshed even with every Spidey keeping its original look in another world.
The story is very much more Gwen's than Miles' but they complement each other. I was actually surprised with the villains, giving the movie something extra. The many versions and cameos were nice as well.
A further bonus is the music which works so well just like in the first one.
The MCU can learn something from this.

To be honest, I was not that impressed. It was at least half an hour too long, and it felt as if they used material from the earlier chapters to create this one. And the music was not that well done. If they gave this one a subtitle I would go with Bass-Boosted, or Retread.

Donnie Yen and Scott Adkins were highlights though, and I enjoyed the myth expansion of the High Table world and customs.

At times it felt a little too much "spot-the-easter-egg". Jack Black as Bowser steals every scene and the morbid star was somewhat funny. It's a predictable movie with quality animation.

Yeah, this was not the movie I was expecting. Yeoh and Quan are good, as is the whole multiverse traveling and abilities thing. The first couple of gags had the audience chuckling. But Best Picture worthy? No, not this hyperkinetic, tiresome two hour long include-all-ideas-brainstorm result.

A couple of scenes were a bit much, but overall I liked it and Brendan was just that good. Sadie Sink as his daughter was an excellent character.
Would definitely recommend it, unlike Mother!

It is a good way to spend two hours at the movies. The boxing is nothing new, but the story has something to it. Jordan and Majors have good chemistry which definitely helps.

Good movie. Nothing special, just two hours of entertainment with Gerard Butler.

Not sure what I was expecting, but something was lacking. Some things were intresting (the heist prep by novices and dealing with the praactical aftermath of a death), yet it felt too much drama, too little heist.

Watched this movie at the movies which definitely adds to the immersion effect of the movie. The volume was rather loud, which wasn't the best considering the smallish venue.

The plot is rather basic: soldiers are trying to get out of Dunkirk without dying, but then this isn't about the plot as much as this movie is about survival. "Survival is greed" sums it up nicely.

Watch this on a big screen with a great soundsystem and don't overthink it too much and you'll be in for a wild ride.

Extremely beautiful, but so boring. I honestly had to fast forward some parts because it went by so slowly. Actually might need to watch a fast paced action movie to get this "slowlyness" out of my system.

Not the worst, but not the best alien horror movie out there. The ending was pretty neat though. The alien itself was pretty cool too.

If anything else, they should show this movie at NASA if they ever decide to bring back stuff from other planets. In that case the people on the ISS know what not to do and some engineers might be able to build a better space station to handle this kind of things.

A brutal western/thriller movie starring Dakota Fanning and Guy Pearce. Honestly one of the most violent movies I have seen, not by the amounts of blood spilled, but by the loadedness of the acts of violence. Not for the faint hearted.

Guy Pearce steals the show as The Reverend, a twisted man of faith who uses religion to satisfy his perverted hunger. Opposite to this we have Dakota Fanning and Emilia Jones who portray Liz in different stages of life trying to survive the Rev. Both actresses give life to Liz in such a way that I was cheering her on while holding my breath for what was to come. Unfortunately Kit Harrington was a bit of a dissapointment character wise. His character doesnt add that much to the story.

A powerful, but pretty nasty movie that had me gasping for air a few times. If I can take one thing from this movie it's that strong female characters in westerns do exist and that 19th Dutch religious zealots are absolutely crazy.

I have to admit, growing up with 2000's movies (fast paced action packed movies), this three hour movie stretched my attention span a couple of times. Brilliant none the less, one of the darkest war movies I've seen to date.

Just watched it in the cinema. About half an hour too long, but really good. It has its cliché moments, it has however a critical message about society which is woven into the action packed scenes. The end is a real tearjerker. Soundtrack was excellent. Had a few laughs as well.

To be honest, it's not Moore's finest piece of work. It lacks certain nuances on both sides of the equation. The non-US countries portrayed in the documentary have their own problems and challenges to overcome. They are not the utopia's from the movie by a long shot. But then again, it shows me (a non-US citizen), that there is something fundamentally rotten in The United States and that it has brought the rot upon itself.

A good movie, almost carried by Shannon himself. Makes me think that he has officially been typecast as "the mobguy"

The movie is about 30 minutes too long for its slow pace. Even the brutal torture could not lessen the feeling of boredom I felt during this movie. I am probably not going to watch any of the other movies Refn has made except maybe rewacth Drive, simply because they all seem to fit in this hardcore art house box (emphasis on the art) and thus fail to be good movies like GoO.
