The whole look and feel of the film reminded me a lot of Crash, which is superior. Although it doesn't offer a real insight into or answers to the societal issues regarding the mobile world we live in, it's worth the watch. Especially if you like films with a multistrand narrative. Strong cast as well.

The Coen brothers actually only helped Sam Raimi with the writing of the script. :)

Amazing what a quick message to the iCM-crew can do; it's fixed! ;)

"Your ass is grass and I'm the lawnmower!"

Too bad half of the material was lost whilst editing. It certainly has some typical QT dialogues.

PTA's highschool project, which later turned into Boogie Nights. I guess he just couldn't let go of this story. Thank god for that.

You can't say this is great, but there's enough to find for the fans. "What you see is what I got."

Not easily digestible. The storytelling reminded me a lot of the movies of Inarritu. May require a revision to fully 'enjoy' it.

Truly disappointed. Some scenes seemed needlessly stretched and there were no remarkable/interesting plot developments to be found. Althought the realistic filmmaking may suit the heavy subject of the story, it also entailed that at no point in this movie I cared for the two protagonists (I mean, the soundtrack was John Cage's 4'33", right?).

Although the movies aren't totally comparable subject-wise, I agree with TheMajor that Lilja 4-ever had a much greater impact on me.
