Definitely a great documentary about some people who do amazing work in the violent streets of Chicago. Although they might not always be able to prevent violence, they surely help to elevate the quality of life for many people living in these rough neighbourhoods and show them life can be different if you change your mindset.
Really impressed by it, the music, the long period at the beginning without anyone talking and the sixties feeling just add to the experience. Great acting and story.
Although it was beautifully shot and the acting was top notch it did leave me a bit disappointed. Still scored it an 8, but I expected much more from it with all the praise it has been getting.
Although it was quite a good movie (acting was great and it had some amazing shots), I expected more of it being in the IMDB top 250. So I agree it is a bit overrated.

It's definitely a very confusing movie, but the witty writing in some scenes more than makes up for it. I would not call it a masterpiece however.
