This movie is not bad and has some interesting effects. However, Cleasing Hour and Ghostwatch were better films with a similar premise but were more suspenseful and scary. If you haven't seen those two movies, see this first then those two. Both are also available on Shudder. Worth a watch.
Overall I enjoyed the movie. The preliminary hearing scene proves two things, on the writers have never been in a court or seen a real trial and 2 the judge was super corrupt and not hiding it. Kinda like a modern Death Wish but not as good. 70s was the king of revenge movies!
Bad movie, with terrible acting from most of the cast and dialogue. The makers of this film clearly knows nothing about computers, doctors/hospitals, and even cops. Nicholas Cage and his daughter actress are the only two who are actually acting well. Cage puts in a solid performance as always. But unless you are a Nicholas Cage completist, skip this garbage movie.

Megan Fox is completely misscasted. Not sure why she is on the movie when there are a lot of more talented female actresses that would have been better in the role. The movie logic makee no sense. How did they get to Libya from NoLA so quickly. That it at least 13 hour flight. A lot of the cast is underused. Other than Megan Fox, the Antonio banderas knock off, and 50 cent the rest of the main cast was great. Over all this movie is terrible
Entertaining Action Comedy film. Nic Cage as always steals the show and puts his all into the character. He seems to be the only actor other than Ernie Hudson and the granddaughter who are having fun making the move. The fact that they kept calling the Flash Drive a Hard Drive was driving me crazy, but halfway through they just started to call the drive, why didn't they do that the entire time I don't know. Anyway, overall it was good not great, but an entertaining watch. Isn't that what movies are supposed to do? I think so, there were also some pretty funny moments. The only thing I would have preferred is if they kept the comedy going in the third act of the film.

It was no different than watching a movie like Taken, except for less action and more of a Drama. I don't see why people are connecting this to Qanon considering it was written in 2015 before Qanon was the crazy cult and loony people that believe the conspiracies. It didn't even hint at that. Also, no producer is under investigation for Child Porn. People need to get their facts straight before making accusations. There was one person who crowd-funded the movie (who knows how much they actually put into the movie) and had really no say in anything, just like if you kickstart something that is under investigation for kidnapping. A POS that helped crowdfund the movie is not the same as a producer. Overall this is a movie based on a guy who worked at stopping sex trafficking and rescued both adults and kids. The movie focuses only on him rescuing kids. How much of the movie is true, probably the overall theme and the fact that he stopped some trafficking and rescued people. The movie takes dramatic liberties to make it entertaining movie, as my friend always says "It is a movie, not a documentary".
If you have seen any film where someone gets sex traffickers arrested or saves a victim like Taken, Eastern Promises, or many others there is nothing new here. It is just an enjoyable movie.

The Equalizer 3 is an excellent sequel to the first movie. It also ties the series together well, in the event this is the final film. Denzel is excellent here and the movie is entertaining. It doesn't have non-stop action and seemingly fewer action scenes than the last 2 movies but does a lot more character-building at the same time does have a good amount of action scenes. I for one thoroughly enjoyed it. I only wish they had dropped some Man on Fire references.

Effectively creepy movie. While not as good as the first it is the best of the sequels. With some really good scares! It doesn't wait too long to get to the creepy scenes. Overall Iiker it a great deal.
This movie has one complicated plot for only being 1 hour 26 minutes. The film is a bit confusing on the first watch with the characters motives being unclear and even for some parts of the movie being very confusing on what is going on. The end of the film however, pretty much clears everything up. So stick with it till the end. Once you know the ending on repeat viewings the movie will be much less confusing.
Basically you are watching the movie the main character created. And most of what we are seeing is her movie, the only parts that were not the movie within the movie was when she met with the guy who wanted her script and a few scenes where she is discussing things with her friend. I also think that some of the scenes were she was talking to the college students about a scary story was real and that is where she got the idea for the movie she wanted to make. Her search for the movie and finding then all the supernatural stuff happening was the movie and not reality. But I would need to see it again to see if there were any clues, like in Six Sense of what is real vs what is not.
45 minutes in, only 2 words came to mind to describe this movie...Not Good. Not very scary, has some cheap jump scares that are not effective, and a plot that has nothing to do with the games in any way other than the main character is a security guard that works at Freddy's and the robots come to life. The acting is meh, the subplots are boring and even though the movie takes very little time to get to the best parts it is just boring. Willy's Wonderland is such a better movie and basically is what this movie is trying to be, yes I know the irony. The dialogue is terrible and the way the characters behave is not realistic. For example,
security guard is leaving Freddy's and a cop lady is talking to him while he is locking up, later after a break-in and the Freddy gang kills the intruders, the cop shows up at the security guard's house, assuming she got it from his pill bottle, to tell him that the place was broken into, and if his pills caused him to leave a door unlock it is liable. What? You saw him lock the place up, you were with him. Not to mention they got in by using a crowbar on a rolling gate that the guard wouldn't have even touched and the front door was padlocked.
. I don't see how anyone could have read the script and thought, yes this is going to be a great movie, I tots want in. So many plot holes. If the movie had been funny or effective jump scars, I could have forgiven the plot holes. But honestly jump scares don't work just because you make a loud noise and show a random image. You have to build up the tension and then when the audience feels safe, do the jump scare. Of this movie please go back and watch some horror films like Exorcist 3, Event Horizon, or a few movies off this list: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls076172156/ and learn what makes a good jump scare. Also, the [spoilers] little kid becomes friends and plays with the monsters and isn't scared [/spoilers] trope is getting really old and is unrealistic. It works in some movies but not all. While I get why in this movie they are doing that, it really makes the [spoliers]evil robots not scary [/spoilers] I really wanted this movie to be good and enjoy it, especially after Willy's Wonderland did a great job with the concept. But I guess what did I expect when the movie is based on a game with very little plot and the trailer looked terrible?

Happy Death Day is the horror version of Groundhog Day, The Final Girls is the horror version of Tron but with a movie instead of a computer, and Totally Killer is the horror version of Back to Future.

Easy to see the obvious influences that John wick had on the mcoi and I am all for more John wick style of films. Definitely worth a watch. They got Rita Moreno to be in the movie, Rita Moreno deserves a better movie, she is an A+ class actress.

For example the fight scene with Tyrese and Ludacris in the internet cafe was not needed nor interesting, nor did it need the random pointless fight between Letty and Cipher.
While not as bad as Fast 9, it is still pretty bad.
Overall the acting from the series regulars really felt like they just didn't care anymore and were picking up a paycheck. But hey it is about Family and also uses the word Family more than any other one of the movies. In some scenes, it is mentioned multiple times in a row. Honestly, it almost feels like a parody of the franchise.
