I was always too lazy to watch this movie. "Too long", I thought.
After watching it, I wanted more... it was so good! To think that this level of 'epicness' was achieved in the 60s is just mind-boggling. The directing is legendary and O'Toole shows why he is considered one of the best actors ever. And don't get me started on the cinematography of this movie...
Fred MacMurray's character was great! The dialogues were outstanding, the plot was very well conceived, the directing was very very good (std Wilder). Very close to a perfect movie in my book.

This movie is great, the purposely-over-the-top acting from Lemmon is just perfect. And how adorable was Shirley MacLaine when she was young?
Ending was great, even though it was kind of expected. It gave a lighter tone to a somewhat dark movie.
This is quite an interesting cartoon if you consider the fact that it was made during WWII. I didn't know that Disney used to be such a powerful weapon of propaganda back then. Scary. Der Fuehrer's Face is another example of blatant propaganda.
