Linda Darnell Filmography
Favs/dislikes: 3:1. Born Monetta Eloyse Darnell in Dallas, Texas, Linda signed a film contract with Fox at the age of 15 and made her debut in Hotel For Women in 1939. She starred in four movies with Tyrone Power, including The Mark of Zorro and Blood and Sand. Later in the 1940s, Linda achieved renewed success in films such as Summer Storm, Hangover Square, Fallen Angel and My Darling Clementine, following a change in type and a new screen image as a pin-up girl. Released from her Fox contract in 1952 at the age of 29, Linda took movie roles in Italy and worked on the stage and in television. Mad Movies Magazine's 100 Films de Genre à (Re)Découvrir
Favs/dislikes: 3:0. Mad Movies is a French cinema magazine created in 1972 and specializing from its inception in fantastic cinema. It deals with all trends in genre cinema: fantasy, science fiction, horror and thriller. "Mad movies - 100 films de genre à (re)découvrir: le guide ultra libre d'un magazine culte" is a book released in 2019. A festive and pioneering guide far from the expected best of, and which, through completely new texts, sees itself as the ideal companion or the hoped-for trigger of a curious, juvenile and decompartmentalized cinephilia. The book is organized by 10 categories: Slashers (1-8) Post-Apocalypse (9-18) Zombies (19-27) Vampires (28-37) Serial Killers (38-46) What the Fuck (47-55) Diabolic (56-64) Phantoms (65-76) Sci-fi (77-86) Monsters (87-100) -

Marie Claire's The 83 Best Rom-Coms of All Time, Ranked
Favs/dislikes: 3:0. "Romantic comedies: Love them or tolerate them—and let's be honest, you can't hate a rom-com—they're always good for a cozy evening in and a life lesson or two. They're also versatile: You can enjoy a good romantic comedy with almost anyone in your life, from your boyfriend to your parents to your best friend. Not to mention, they pair perfectly with just about any kind of snack (I'm partial to M&Ms with my rom-coms, but you do you). For the next time that nothing but a good rom-com will do, we ranked the best and the most classic rom-coms of all time. Where does your fave fall on the list?" -

Max Steiner Scores
Favs/dislikes: 3:0. Films scored by Max Steiner (1929-1964) This filmography lists every motion picture with which Steiner was involved as a composer or musical director. The films are listed in the order of their copyright dates. As General Music Director at RKO Radio Pictures from late 1930 to early 1936, Steiner was credited as musical director on most of the studio's films as a matter of course, although he did not always receive screen credit. For some of these films, Steiner was the musical director only, and no evidence exists that he composed any original music for these pictures. After leaving RKO in May of 1936, Steiner was freed from administrative and supervisory duties and was able to devote himself almost solely to composing and conducting his own film scores.
