A peculiar mixture of high and low brow comedy which makes it ultimately a bit uncomfortable. However there's a sweet romance story hidden in there and a fun western (with some very clever gags) if you can get past its more crude side.

Feels very much like it would have been quite a fun pg or 12 rated film if they had cut out the more unpleasant side.

Mediocre. The big laughs are few and far between.

Very boring and uninteresting in my opinion. It got a few laughs out of me, but I would really rather have been staring into a wall for an hour and a half. So bad.

I wish there was a cut without all the cheap jokes.

That was interesting.... I really don't know what to think of this movie. I was at the cinema and laughed with everyone, but if I had seen it at home I probably wouldn't have laughed so much. It's a dirty and overdone comedy, but had lots of good actors in it. Watch it with a bunch of friends.

One can only take so many jokes about bodily fluids.

Although there was some clever humor in the story, and a potentially watchable plot, most of the humor seemed as though the movie was written by a high school sophomore. I have trouble believing a mature adult could have written most of the raunchy and bathroom related comedy. It could have been a decent movie if not for that.

Not so funny Seth.
For me NPH is the star of the movie but I hated the scene before the duel, that is not funny, at all.
There are some cameos that are interesting for me.
There is so much Adam Sandler humor in this movie, cut that type of humor and keep the insulting violente and clever humor that Seth MacFarlane can do.

Way too much fart jokes. I mean... WHY? There's some clever humor in the movie but the fart and shit jokes ruin the film.

When you start (and end) your comedy western with a call-back to Blazing Saddles, your movie better be able to withstand the comparison. A Million Ways to Die in the West does not. Oh Seth MacFarlane does provide some clever self-aware jokes about how the Frontier differs from our world and time in absurd ways, though the only laughs it drew out of me were the kind of non sequitur smash cuts/movie references he used on Family Guy. But there's a lot of waiting around for those as the formulaic romcom structure does its thing. He's the proverbial "nice guy" abused by his girlfriend Amanda Seyfried until he learns what love is from a gunslinging Charlize Theron, if only he can survive meeting her husband Lian Neeson. Yeah, it's a nice cast with a deep bench. Bit of a waste considering MacFarlane keeps losing all the good will he accumulates by pushing disagreeable racist and ethnic jokes, or terrible gross-out/body fluids humor that falls flat and makes me feel bad for the actors involved. I get that MacFarlane thinks he took his cue FROM Blazing Saddles, but he really learned the wrong lessons from it.

It's definitely a "dirty" comedy that even people with low IQ's will understand. I was a bit shocked by the bluntness and language usage, but yes, while in the cinema I did laugh.
Still, loved to see Liam Nesson in such a different and unexpected role.

Bel film. Genere umoristico, né comico né commedia. C'è un bellissimo cameo e la colonna sonora è gradevole. Lo consiglierei a tutti, ma non posso.

I don't count this as a spoiler since it's in the trailer on TV but spoiler. This is the only time we see his time machine still with the plutonium powered nuclear reactor before Mr. Fusion, but with 2015 (future) barcode license plate. Makes no sense if you look too close, but a high point of the movie none the less. If only Seth had set his movie in Hill Valley, CA 1885 instead of Dead Stump, AZ 1882. I know I know. Don't over think it.
