As is mentioned here, great first half, decent second half. Thought the ending was kind of dramatic, which I didn't really see coming because the first part is quite ironic and has a very different tone. Still very good, though.

Unlike most other commenters, I felt the second half was a little unrealistic and too violent given the character development in the first half. Although I enjoyed the performances of Cage, Streep and Cooper, and the tidbits of wisdom sprinkled in here and there were fascinating, I would have preferred a much less violent ending. That being said, that car crash scene was phenomenal! I felt as though I was in the car when it happened! Great work!

It's intensely self centered and Cage's artificial and whiny performance doesn't make the Kaufman scenes easier, especially when he's supposed to play two different characters but alters nothing of his physical expressions. When will Hollywood get that twins are not clones? Apparently not this time again.
Streep and Cooper's scene salvage part of the intention of the movie but it is ultimately lost in the writer's dribble.
Both stories fail to join in significance or meaning.
